Franco-Canadian meeting on property and facility management |
On June 22nd was held the first Franco-Canadian meeting on property and facility management organised by Site Alpha Inc. and Espace Publications. |
|
The aim of the meeting, gathering property managers and facility managers from France and from Québec, was to exchange on the industry practices and on the differences of management that exist between each country. This event was co-animated by Andrew Cross, publisher of Espace Publications (Canada) and Jean-François Romain, editor of the French magazine Maintenance Tertiaire. The presentations outlined various subjects like operating policies and maintenance in property management, the importance of an efficient communication when implementing a new management system, or environmental concerns in building and the different regulations.

ALFID choose SUITE FM |
Alfid group has chosen the Suite FM portal to offer its tenants the best quality of service |

The property and asset manager Alfid, that manages 1.4 million sqft of commercial and multi residential buildings in Montreal, has chosen the software Suite FM to manage its tenant requests in 5 buildings : 500 Place d'armes, 1001 Maisonneuve East, 625 Kennedy, 740 Notre Dame West, 1185-99 de Bleury. Tenants create a service request via a self service web page, access the building information and check or download the online documentation. Users have a remote access to the application hosted via ASP (Application Service Provider) and they connect with a secured user name and password.

The company Syspark now hosts the software and allows Site Alpha Inc. to offer its solutions via ASP (Application Service Provider) to its Canadian customers. SAM and SUITE FM implemented at the McGill University Health Center in Montreal. |

Site Alpha has implemented SAM and Suite FM at the 5 hospitals of the MUHC: the Royal Victoria Hospital, the General Hospital, the Children's hospital, the Neurological Hospital and the Chest Institute.

the new SUITE FM module dedicated to managing documents on-line by theme |
|
DOC ON LINE can organise your building-related documents by theme. Site plans, wiring diagrams, maintenance activity reports - all these technical, commercial or legal documents can be brought together on-line to be accessed by the buildings’ various users. The manager using the SUITE FM portal simply associates a user with the themes concerning him, and he will then be able to view and download these documents. This principle strengthens the organisation of documentary information, adapts to fit sites' organisations and methods closely and improves communication between the managers, owners and tenants of a building.
