One of SITE ALPHA’s great strengths is its mastery of building management systems. From its initial position as a nationally-recognised technical research office, the company has accumulated 18 years of experience in the field of maintenance engineering in the building sector.
At the beginning of the 1990s, the range of existing software dedicated to maintenance management or CMMS1 was resolutely oriented towards manufacturing, and had little to offer to the building trades.
As a response to the demand from its customers, SITE ALPHA turned towards software development. The company opted to design a genuine CMMS tool specifically dedicated to buildings maintenance management, which simplicity of use would differentiate it from traditional complex CMMS systems. It was in this context that SAM was born.
With the expansion of the Internet, SITE ALPHA began to develop on-line technical services, and quickly saw the potential of the emerging Facility Management (FM2) market. When SITE ALPHA launched SuiteFM service portal dedicated to buildings' users, it expanded its software range and was able to answer every need, from technical maintenance management to service management.
As of today, more than 3 500 user sites around the world (Europe, Canada, Asia…) and over 25 000 users acknowledge SAM, SuiteFM and SYSBIO as solutions of high quality asset managers can rely on.
