Data managementSamFM data structure is based on both technical and geographical data. Thus, the relational data base creates links between descriptions of technical data and their geographical location, providing a more accurate way to handle interventions from both technical and geographical points of view. Work order management In order to reduce the overall costs of maintenance, any maintenance manager targets a decrease of corrective maintenance and an increase of preventive maintenance. SamFM offers a complete range of functionalities to perfectly monitor every aspect of maintenance and to you provide with a helpful activity dashboard. SamFM is both a management and a decision-making tool. From any desktop connected to the Internet, SamFM allows you to:
- Access to operations – a high number of customizable and recordable filters make researches really easy,
- Complete reports integrating comments, supplies and counter readings,
- Supervise technicians’ reports and modify them if necessary,
- Make grouped reports and supervisions,
- Create new work orders.
In order to involve subcontractors or equipment suppliers under contracts, SamFM offers the « CR WEB » module. They are granted a limited access to their own operations and to all related information. In addition, emails can be sent to operators or subcontractors at every step of an operation. - A preventive program is set on the equipment type: all equipments of the same type get the generic program of the equipment type; for specific equipments, a special program can be defined,

- The automatic planning allows you to define various planning strategies and to take into account resources potential to reschedule the planning,

- A link with order management (receiving and shipping orders).
Moreover, the operator can mention in his report all supplies used during an operation: stocks will therefore be updated automatically. Budgets and contracts managementIn order to get a relevant analysis of the activity, technical interventions can be associated to a Contract or a Project. Financial follow-up is thus made easier and can be compared to the budget estimates previously defined.
