Since 2002, Site Alpha has been offering a hosting service for its software as an alternative to a « classical » purchase, in client/server mode. Instead of installing the software solution on his local IT network, a customer can access it via internet upon subscription. This complete offer includes hosting, software administration and updates
Today, there are 2 ways to name this service: ASP or SaaS.
ASP (application service provider) is used when the application has to be adapted to be accessible through the internet. SaaS (Software as a Service) means than the software has an native-internet architecture, and was designed for an online use. SamFM is one of them.
As part of ASP or SaaS, Site Alpha hosts your software. It can be accessed via Internet upon a monthly fee.
ASP/SaaS advantages:

- Enjoy flexible and scalable solutions that totally fit in your IT system and meet your needs.
- The monthly subscription includes access rights to the software solution, updates processed by Site Alpha as well as technical support to trained users.
At the end of the subscription contract, you keep the data recorded in SamFM whereas Site Alpha keeps the property of the software license.
Site Alpha also offers to host the licenses you already acquired: this is called outsourcing. At the end of the hosting contract, the data and software license are restored to you.
Site Alpha has been offering this kind of service since 2003 and we master all its different aspects. At the moment, hosting contracts represent 20 to 25 % of Site Alpha sales.
